Representation In The Music Video

Representations in the music video (who/ what, why, where& how) 

James (lead singer of the band)- the lead member of the band will be represented in the video as being psychopathic and very passionate about what he does, he will be represented as a person who has witnessed his father's death and he will eventually go after the person who killed his father. He will also be represented as a mysterious person as when he is killing, he will be wearing a mask to hide his identity to people. One of the reasons we want him to kill someone and be a psychopath and be very passionate is that it matches the tone of the music that we are making the music video for. We also decided to represent him in this way after taking inspiration from a song called 'Time to dance' by The Shoes. The audience will understand why he kills someone when they watch the final cut of the video.  

The shots of the band, which will be in a white room will be of all three members of the band playing their instruments and singing, they will be represented as a  punk/ rock band, and play with a lot of passion. The lead singer will not have his mask on in the band scenes. In the band scenes, the band members will be wearing alternative clothing/ black clothing, it will be filmed in greyscale.  

This band will be representing the alternative social group, but to be more specific, they will be representing people within the alternative social group; hardcore, metallers and punks. These are the three main, specific sort of people who we are targeting and who our band will represent. We'll achieve this by having our band wear the clothing that is associated with those three social groups, also the band will show the same passion as other punk artists do.
