Band Biography- Renegade

Renegade is a band born from the heart of Leicester. Three childhood friends tirelessly work to create new and innovative punk music as they try to re enlighten the genre. Critics, positively reviewed the band as they’ve played their way through the midlands and are beginning to bring in worldwide reputation thanks to their new contract with Rise Records who are determined to bring the deserved success to the up and coming band. James Green (lead signer), Kieran Goodson (drummer) and Jay Franks (Guitarist) are promoting the release of their new single “The Hunter” by touring around the UK, and ending at Leeds festival.

To start with, we had an issue collectively in coming to a decision on a band name as we all had our own preferences/ideas. So in order to narrow down the multitude of options we had accumulated, we looked into key words and terms that are related to the category of our music video. After discussing a number of names we all agreed on having 'RENEGADE' as the band name. The word is a synonym for things such as 'rebel' or 'outlaw' which we felt suited both our band and our song choice.
