After looking over a number of locations which we could film in we stumbled across a Photography Studio called Yellow Bean Studios. It has a large 26x15ft white room which we could record our performance shots in. Currently, we are in negotiations with the studio on available dates, times and prices that we could book for filming. Additionally, the studio also provides equipment for us to rent, which would save us both time and money.  Also, our filming process would benefit from a completely white room - which includes white flooring. this will make a the room look larger than it actually is. This is something we discussed initially and felt that the use of in the preliminary music video when we used the school's studio could have benefited from. 

The reason we are looking to book a studio is to gain a much larger space than is available at school. Booking the studio in appose to using the school's also means that we aren't reliant on our teachers to let us in and the studio not being used already. The large studio also allows us to film in a more flexible and less confined situations - like our Preliminary Music Video. It will also help to implement certain lighting and shot techniques that we are taking inspiration from. 

Mad Villain - CD Inspiration

This CD cover was shown to us by our media teacher Mr Ford. I really liked the simplicity of the design and the colour scheme. As well as the positioning of the main image, and it also links to our idea of having a masked/hooded character in the video which is what I decided I will implement into my design.

Prodigy Album Cover Inspiration

This CD cover by Prodigy is the type of colour scheme I like myself, black white and grey. It is also linked to the punk genre and therefore will Suit our band Renegade. I like the sizing of the main image on this album cover having it in the centre of the page and of a medium size. This will be something I will implement into my digipak designs

Here are some pieces of album magazine adverts that we have found ideas and inspiration from when we are to create our own. They provide various degrees of photography and image manipulation and all have their own unique aspects that we felt suit the theme of both our band and our chosen song.

Testament - Souls of Black Cover Inspiration

We felt that we needed to research some original CD covers to look at inspiration for hooded characters. We came across this CD cover by Testament which is the type of character we want in our video. We liked the black and red colour scheme and is what we will be looking to implement into our designs. However, I feel a close up of the hooded character would look better instead of a long shot.

Arrow TV Show Inspiration

Looking further into hooded characters, we thought of the TV show "Arrow". Where the main character wears a hooded jacket to disguise his identity. This is similar to characters we have looked at before, but we still feel there is something is needed slightly different for it to look perfect.

Assassins Creed Video Game Influence

This image of Assassins Creed is influenced from our mask idea. However, this idea we feel is better in terms of representing the whole chacrter. Using a hood we feel rather than just a mask looks better and is what our mask we buy will include.

The Hunter - Storyboard Animatic

This is an animatic version of our storyboard. This animatic provides a visual representation of how our music video will go and how it will be edited.  From the creation of this animatic storyboard, we have been able to learn how we are going to structure our video. In addition, this has provided us with experience on how to use editing software effectively and efficiently.  Because of this experience, it has been able to provide us with the knowledge of the editing software we used (Adobe Premium Pro CS6).  

Borderlands 2 - Inspiration

When looking for ideas of masks to use for our character,  I remembered the video game "Borderlands" which featured characters with different masks. The third character in this image is one especially which caught my eye and is going to be taken into account when buying a mask for our character as a similar one is wanted.

Fencing Mask Idea

After watching Time to Dance, we liked the mask element of Jake Gyllenhaal's fencing outfit. We felt something like this that "The Hunter" (Character) in our video could wear would look creepy and give off the intention we want from the character in our video. However, it is not quite how we want him to look, more research will follow into different types of masks that our character could possibly wear.
