The videos below are the videos that we are taking inspiration from, for our music video.
We feel that the Chase & Status song is an inspiration for us because we really like the lighting of the song. It is in greyscale and we like the fact that it is minimalistic but it is eye catching at the same time. This lighting also suits the genre we have chosen and it also compliments the song we have picked. Also from this song by Chase & Status we are taking inspiration from the performance of the band, they look very lively and passionate and we want our band to perform the same way because it will suit our song choice and also the genre.
From the song by The Shoes, we are taking inspiration from the narrative of the music video- our music video will be partly narrative based and we feel this narrative rom this song 'Time To Dance' will help us with the narrative that we want to in- corporate into our music video. We want to combine aspects from both videos into our own video and we feel that if we do it correctly, it will be a successful music video.
